We want to provide emotional, informational and relational support our members and help them to build connections with the group. Having a whole tribe in your corner, who get it, makes all the difference. Many members find lifelong friends at DSCNWA that they enjoy doing life with.

We have a number of Member Support programs: Sunshine Totes, Care Packages, Member Resource Library, Text Tribe, Mentor Families and New Parent Tribe.

Sunshine Boxes provide essentials for when your child is admitted to the hospital, that you may have forgotten at home. Such as a charger for your phone.

Connecting in person is hard with busy lives. Text Tribes allow mom's to build connections and find support with other moms through text. Each Text Tribe Group has a leader that facilitates weekly communication.

We will put together a tailored care package for our member with Down syndrome of any age dealing with a major life change that impacts a caregiver.

Our Member Resource Library brings lots of important information and resources to you in one place whether you are looking for information about State of Arkansas supports or recreational activities.

Our New Parent Tribe meets four times a year and offers new parents to meet other new parents, make connections and share stories. Small Group Format with childcare. Led by our New Parent Coordinator.

Everyone's journey is unique but there are similar things that members may experience. Mentor families are paired with a new family facing a similar situation.
