2019 Rock Your Socks Campaign for 3/21
March 21st is World Down Syndrome Day and the DSCNWA would love your support to bring this global event to life in our community! WDSD (World Down Syndrome Day) provides the opportunity for us to raise awareness of how Down syndrome has impacted our lives all while supporting the mission of DSCNWA.
This year we are building on a tradition of wearing 'crazy' or 'wild' socks by creating our very own DSCNWA branded socks. These unique socks aren't meant to hide, they are intended to start conversations, raise awareness and to remind us all how we can support our mission: To facilitate inclusion and respect for individuals with Down syndrome within the NWA community, ensuring that they have access to the support and resources necessary to reach their full potential at all stages of life.
World Down Syndrome Day allows us all to be a part of facilitating inclusion and raising awareness (regardless of your socks) and by donating just $20 (purchasing a pair of official socks) you become a partner with DSCNWA in providing access to support and resources that make life improving differences in our community. A limited number of these socks are available in both adult ($20) and children's ($10) sizes.
On March 21, take pictures of your friends and family wearing their crazy socks. Then share those pictures on social media with the hashtag #NWArockyoursocks2019. We hope when people look down and notice your socks, you can share with them what's up with Down syndrome and DSCNWA!
If you have decided to donate $20 to DSCNWA and sport our branded socks this World Down Syndrome day, when checking out, please select the location you would like to pickup your socks. Items will be available for pick up: 3/9 in Springdale, or 3/12-3/22 at the listed locations.
Thank you for participating in our Rock Your Socks Campaign.
