Clark's Super Friends

Clark Kirschner

Clark's Super Friends are a group of loyal, loving superheroes inspired by Clark's Kirschner's winning smile and super attitude.  Clark is a fun-loving six year old who loves superheroes, horses, and trains.  Come join Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, and other superheroes as we walk with Clark (Superboy).  Wear a Superman (or other superhero) T-shirt and be a part of the Down Syndrome Connection of Northwest Arkansas Inclusion Walk (formerly the Down Syndrome Buddy Walk) at Arvest Ballpark on Saturday, October 13th from 10 am - 1 pm.

Clark is named after Superman's alter ego, Clark Kent.  His older sisters are Katherine Lois, Genevieve Lane, and Alexandra Lara (Superman's mom's name).  Clark and his dad dress up as Superman each year and Clark's sisters dress up as Supergirl, Wonder Woman, and Batgirl.  Superheroes are a great way to connect with kids and with kids at heart.  Clark's Super Friends know that having fun dressed as superheroes is a great way to make people smile and to bring joy and hope to many.  Superheroes are also a great way to start conversations about God-stuff.  Clark and his family are big fans of Superman and are devoted followers of Jesus.

There are a number of ways that you can be a part of Clark's Super Friends and provide support:

  • Walk with me in the Inclusion Walk on Saturday, October 13th at Arvest Ballpark  (Event 10 - 1 pm, Walk at 11:30 am)
  • Run in the Respect Run 5K on Saturday, October 13th at Arvest Ballpark (8 am)

October is Down syndrome Awareness month. We hope that you will join us, celebrate the many wonderful qualities & gifts of people with Down syndrome, & walk with us. The Inclusion Walk is the main fundraiser for the Down Syndrome Connection of Northwest Arkansas. No matter how you decide to support us, we want to thank you. DSCNWA has made a huge difference for our family & has provided us support in many ways. We hope to see you out there!  (Just be sure to register so we know you are coming!)
